First of all, no, we are not dead. We have just hit several setbacks.

Second of all, no, I did not rip you off. I have bought the new HDD. In fact, here’s picture proof! (Embedded after the break)

However, as I mentioned earlier, we hit some setbacks. The first one being that LyricalAura has been swamped with school work (I know how he feels) and haven’t been able to work that much on translation.

The second setback, however, was that my desktop computer’s HDD crashed. Which means that the latest files are lost. However, we will not let these things hinder us from finishing the show. My computer is up and running again, so now I’m ready for work.

One more thing, I am currently lacking the disk space to make the Blu-ray releases. I’ve decided to start a small donation drive to raise enough money to buy a new HDD (being a poor student sucks). You can bet your ass on that this disk will allow me to make higher quality releases, as I will have more then enough space for them. This is not a scam. Any donation of any size is welcome. The money covers the disk itself + shipping. The goal is $85.

Both episode 9 and 10 have the correct ED lyrics, but do note that it contains Kanji wordplays, so what you read might not be the same as what they sing.

The Xvids won’t be released today, due to last minute changes to the script, but they will be released sometime tomorrow I guess. Fake Edit: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Xvids might be slightly delayed. They will be released though, don’t worry!

We were really close to releasing this episode with a CRC32 that referenced Endless Eight not once, but twice! Luckily, this was averted.

Episode 6 is almost completely ready for release, but the official opening lyrics come out in a little more than 24 hours. I don’t want to release the OP2 for the .mkv release knowing that there is a 99% chance that we will have a v2 after those 24 hours. Expect episode 6 to be released as soon as the official release (as opposed to the leaked release) of the opening starts floating around the ‘net (so, in about a day).

I’m really sorry for the delay, but I hope there are still people out there waiting for our release.

A few notes from Bocom: Because of the way libass handles linebreaks, the epitaph will line break at awkward places. Please ignore this, however, during one part, it will most likely slow down, on both libass and VSFilter. If you notice any slowdowns, I recommend that you switch to the subtitle track that doesn’t have any typesetting. It’s essentially the same script, minus the typesetting of course.

Speaking of typesetting, we are now looking for a new .ass typesetter.

Also, the video clips on the TV are (at least) 2 extras from the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai DVDs. Just in case you were wondering~
